Easy to Reach....
From Somerville Area: Route 22 Eastbound to Washington Avenue, Dunellen. Right turn at the Willows and down Washington Avenue to 4th traffic light (Vail Avenue). Right turn on to Vail Avenue. 1 block to Victoria Avenue. Right turn on Victoria... and you will see Circle Playhouse on the left side.
From Middlesex & Bound Brook via Route 28: Travel East to Washington Avenue, Dunellen. Right turn on Washington Avenue to second traffic light (Vail Avenue). Right turn on Vail Avenue to Victoria Avenue (1 block). Right turn on Victoria... and you will see Circle Playhouse on the left side.
From Points South and East via route 287: Northbound on Rt 287 to Exit 5. Stay to right up ramp and make right on to Stelton Road. Continue on Stelton Road past Exxon Station (on left). Stay right of Exxon Station. Stelton Road becomes Washington Ave. Go about 1 and 1/2 miles over bridge to the corner of Washington and Vail Avenues. Left turn on to Vail Avenue. 1 block to Victoria Avenue. Right turn on Victoria Ave. Circle Playhouse is on the left side.
From Points North and West via Route 287: Southbound on Rt. 287 to Exit 6. Stay right on ramp and make right at end of ramp. Go to 4th traffic light and make left on to Stelton Road. Stelton Road becomes Washington Ave. at Exxon Station. Stay to right of Exxon Station and follow directions immediately above.
Parking: Circle Playhouse has two parking lots, one on either side of the theater. The smaller lot on the left of the theater is for cast and crew, and is adjacent to the theater entrance. (Those dropping off the elderly or handicapped can drive up to the street-level entrance off the left parking lot, then back out and park in the larger patrons' parking lot on the right side of the building.) The front stairs are used ONLY for handicapped entering and emergency exiting.
Please be aware that there is a narrow flight of stairs leading from the street level lobby to the theater itself that will not accommodate a wheelchair or the severely handicapped.
